OCASI is dedicated to providing an inclusive platform that serves a diverse range of users, promoting equitable and accessible learning opportunities for all. Our goal is to ensure that everyone engaging with LearnAtWork.ca has a meaningful and positive experience. To achieve this, we focus on making the LearnAtWork.ca accessible to users of all abilities. Our LearnAtWork.ca platform follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as our guiding framework, with the ultimate aim of achieving Level AA standards, the recommended level of accessibility for entire websites. All our courses are designed with accessibility in mind and include:

  • Compatibility with screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack)
  • Keyboard-friendly navigation
  • Closed captions for video content
  • Alternative text for images
  • Clear and consistent navigation structures
  • PDFs to offer alternative learning methods

For additional questions or concerns regarding the accessibility of our Learning Platform, please refer to our comprehensive accessibility statement (https://learningpool.com/accessibility-statement-for-learning-pool-lms/).

If you encounter any accessibility barriers within the course modules, please let us know immediately at elearning@ocasi.org so that we can determine if design adjustments can be made or if accommodation is needed to overcome the limitations of the design.
